Fact: Studies show that IUS are placed with ease, regardless of a woman’s age and parity.1-4 They also show that the placement is less painful than expected, with most women reporting mild pain.5

Results from the Kyleena® Satisfaction Study (KYSS), which enrolled 1,110 parous and nulliparous women, recently showed that:6

    • ~90% of healthcare professional considered Kyleena® placements as ‘easy’, regardless of parity

    • Most women experienced none or mild pain associated with Kyleena® placement, regardless of parity

    IUS – intrauterine system; LNG-IUS – levonorgestrel-releasing intrauterine system

    * The device used for the placement of Kyleena® – Bayer EvoInserter® – is the same used for the placement of Mirena® and Jaydess®.
